The Tara Centre may offer a level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling or Cognitive Behavioural Therapeutic Skills and Theory depending on a sufficient number of applicants.
Level 5 Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapeutic Skills and Theory (CBT-L5)
This qualification is intended for candidates who want to develop CBT skills and theory as an integral part of their professional counselling work. It is designed to enhance the employability of counsellors in organisational settings and as independent practitioners by giving them a solid grounding in CBT skills and theory.
Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (PC-L5)
This qualification is designed to give learners the knowledge, skills and competencies to work as self-employed counsellors in independent practice. It also equips learners to take on a senior counselling role in an organisational context where client assessment, referral and routine evaluation are part of the role.
The courses meet the requirements of the National Counselling Society and the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy for individual accreditation.
